Close-up, roaming magic for small groups during cocktail hour or late night mingling. Trino moves through the room, stops a group, and pulls others in with them. Strangers become an audience together. Different departments, different conversations, all sharing the same moment of wonder. Typically booked in 60 to 90 minute blocks and pairs perfectly with the full stage show.

Trino has spent eighteen years reading rooms, adjusting on the fly, and keeping energy up from the first introduction to the final send off. Trino grew up in Lake Ann, just down the road from Traverse City. His parents ran a bed and breakfast, which means hospitality is not something he learned in a green room. It is something he grew up inside of. Knowing how to read a room, make people feel welcome, and keep energy up across a long evening started long before the first show.
He has performed at Grand Traverse Resort, Crystal Mountain, Great Wolf Lodge, and Little River Casino. He has performed for the Traverse City Film Festival and schools across Benzie County. Northern Michigan is not a market he flies into. It is home territory.

Raised in Northern Michigan Hospitality
Trino grew up in Lake Ann, a small town in Benzie County about twenty minutes south of Traverse City. His parents ran a bed and breakfast, which means he spent his childhood meeting people from all over the country, all over the world, all different backgrounds, all coming through the same front door. That turned out to be pretty good training for a career built around walking into a room full of strangers and making them feel like they have known each other for years. He also grew up eating far too many cherries. Northern Michigan will do that to you.
He started performing young. Talent shows, birthday parties, anywhere that would have him. The magic conventions in Colon, Michigan, the Magic Capital of the World, shaped the way he thought about the craft. He watched performers who had turned an unusual passion into a real career and decided that was the only path worth taking.
Eighteen years later he has performed for hundreds of thousands of people across the country. Four seasons on Masters of Illusion on The CW. He has produced full stage shows, variety productions, and multi performer events from Grand Rapids to Northern Michigan and beyond. He founded the Grand Rapids Magic Festival, now in its fifth year, and produces Amaze and Amuse every month at Wealthy Theatre, bringing in world class performers from across the country to a sixty seat room where the magic finds you whether you are ready or not.
Northern Michigan is where it all started. The lake, the small town, the guests coming through from everywhere. He still loves this part of the state. Always will.
