A Kid from
Paw Paw
Trino grew up near Colon, Michigan, the Magic Capital of the World. He started performing young, at talent shows, birthday parties, and anywhere in Southwest Michigan that would have him. The magic conventions in Colon shaped the way he thought about the craft early on. He watched performers who had turned an unusual passion into a real career and decided that was the only path worth taking.
Eighteen years later he has performed for hundreds of thousands of people across the country. Four seasons on Masters of Illusion on The CW. He founded the Grand Rapids Magic Festival, now in its fifth year every April at Wealthy Theatre, and produces Amaze and Amuse every month, Grand Rapids’ adults only monthly magic show featuring world class performers from across the country in a sixty seat room where everyone is close enough to the action that the action finds them.
Grand Rapids is where all of it came together. The shows, the festival, the monthly residency. This is home.
